Cabinet sends the final version of the budget to parliament

The Cabinet on Monday referred to the House of Representatives a final modified version of the draft federal budget bill for fiscal year 2019.

According to a statement issued by the Cabinet Secretariat, the transferred version is the final version of the bill, which will be adopted instead of the previous version sent by Council Resolution No. 400 of 2018.

The Cabinet had previously appointed a committee headed by the Minister of Finance and the membership of the gentlemen, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance Agency, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning for Administrative Affairs Agency, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Technical Affairs Agency, The Director of the Legal Department of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the Director General of the Budget Department of the Ministry of Finance, the Director General of the Department of Government Investment Programs in the Ministry of Planning, the Director General of the Economic and Financial Department of the Ministry of Oil, The Director General of the Administrative and Financial Department of the Ministry of Electricity, the Director General of the Administrative and Financial Department of the Ministry of Commerce and the Director General of the Administrative and Financial Department of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals to review and amend the provisions of the draft budget 2019.

Under the supervision of the Minister of Finance, the head of the Secretariat of the Supreme Commission for Coordination between the provinces and the representative of the government in the House of Representatives Turhan the appearance of coordination with the representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, and representatives of local governments, on the submission of their comments on the draft law mentioned and communicate with the Committee to consolidate these observations.

The Committee was then empowered to review the provisions of the draft budget 2019 and make amendments to it and then submitted to the Prime Minister for decision.

The amendment of the paragraphs of the budget law in line with the directions of the government and the current situation, and serve the segments and governorates of Iraq all.
