The World Economic Forum, known as Davos, will be held in Switzerland on Tuesday for four days under the theme "Towards a common future in a torn world".

According to the forum, Davos 2019 is expected to bring about 70 heads of state and government and 38 leaders of international organizations, as well as some 3,000 of the world's wealthiest and most powerful people.

This year's forum is set to discuss major crises facing the world, including, according to Klaus Schwab, President of the Forum, the closing of the income gap between the rich and the poor, the implications of the Chinese slowdown on global growth, the UK's exit crisis, Economic development.

Schwab seeks to promote globalization and free trade, which is reeling under the blows of US President Donald Trump, but this goal seems to be elusive as the Trump administration moves towards implementing isolationism.

The forum's participants face many issues that are challenging to discuss, notably climate change, the global economic slowdown, bad central banks in the face of recession, and meetings such as Global Garbage Crisis Management, Globalization Inclusion and Globalization. Or re-innovation? ".

There is a strong focus on the risks of climate change this year, as well as the challenges posed by technological change, and women make up only 22% of the conference's attendance.

Trump has apologized for not attending the Davos forum this year because of internal problems such as the closure of the US government and disagreement with Congress over the allocation of the separation wall. The United States will be represented by Treasury Secretary Stephen Menuchin, Foreign Secretary Mike Pompey, Trade Welber Ross, and US Trade Representative Robert Laitzer, according to the Wall Street Journal.

French President Emmanuel Macaron, who is struggling to stop violent street protests and faces a fierce battle with the Yellow Jackets, is also expected to miss the forum, which threatens to bankrupt French banks by organizing a popular campaign to withdraw deposits from banks.

Chinese President Xi Jinping, whose country is suffering from economic slowdown and declining growth, will not attend. Liu Ke, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and director of the General Office of the Central Command Group for Financial and Economic Affairs, will represent China.

British Prime Minister Theresa May has also canceled her trip to Davos after she suffered a defeat in a parliamentary vote on her plan to withdraw from the European Union. The forum will not be attended by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Moody, who is fighting for a second term.

Davos is held this year and the world is wailing under the throes of accumulated financial, economic, political and social crises, whose black clouds may bring depression to the world at any moment. The world order established after World War II disintegrates and the world enters the gray phase with horrific speed. is over/
