Work: Issuing more than 103,000 smart cards for families included in the new coverage

The Social Protection Authority of the Ministry of Labor has announced the issuance of more than 103,000 smart cards for families covered by social welfare benefits under the two new categories (third and fourth) announced earlier by the ministry in cooperation with the International Smart Card Company.

The director of the Department of Information Technology in the Social Protection Agency Jamal Abdul Rasool said in a statement received by Al-Marbed copy that the company completed the issuance of more than (103) thousands smart cards for families covered social welfare benefits within the new meals (third and fourth) in Baghdad and the provinces except for the Kurdistan region after The ministry checked its transactions.

Abdul Rasool added that the staff of the social protection departments in Baghdad and the governorates continue their work daily even during the holidays to complete the audit of all family transactions that were included within the last two meals in order to issue smart cards in preparation for granting them the salaries due in accordance with the Protection Law No. 11 of 2014.
