The President of the Republic approves the federal budget

The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, on Monday, the Federal Budget Law for the current year, while in his speech, the opening of the first international forum, organized by the "Rafidain Center for Dialogue" in Baghdad with the participation of Iraqi political elites and dozens of Arab and foreign personalities from 22 countries, Iraq is the focus of change in the Middle East and its stability is the stability of the region as a whole, called on political forces to support the implementation of the government program.


A presidential statement received by "Sabah" that Saleh pointed to "the need to provide basic services for citizens, and start the stage of construction and reconstruction," praising "the efforts that contributed to the preparation of the draft budget and study and legislation, whether in the government or the House of Representatives.


In the meantime, the President of the Republic, at the opening session of the first Rafidain Forum in Baghdad: "We live in a world full of variables, and the meeting in Baghdad is important in light of the challenges and crises locally and regionally, where Iraq has been fighting since 2003 a major war against Al Qaeda and , After we have provided rivers of blood and material losses and we won the support of everyone from neighboring countries and the International Alliance.


" Saleh added that "the formation of the government in Iraq is an important point not only in Iraq but for the region, Iraq is an important focal point for the region," noting that "initiating reforms in the country in various aspects through ending crises and restoring the political system and reform to enhance confidence with the people, All Areas".


He stressed that "the government program of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, looking forward to structural economic reforms and benefit from Iraq's resources," noting that "reform of the political system requires reforms in the governance system."



"What we see in Basra and the rest of the provinces is a process of looking for a better future in light of the possibilities available through providing government services and implementing the government program," he said. "Internal reform requires a stable regional environment. Iraq was the scene of regional crises in which Iraq paid the price."
