Rafidain urges citizens to move their financial accounts inactive
Economy News Baghdad
Urged the Rafidain Bank, Tuesday, citizens to move their inactive accounts that have been more than seven years in its branches in Baghdad and the provinces in order to avoid freezing and transfer to the accounts of the Central Bank of Iraq.
The bank's information office said in a statement received by "Economy News" that "the instructions and banking laws in force require the freezing of accounts suspended and inactive in the savings and current for seven years and transferred to the Central Bank of Iraq."
The statement urged "citizens to avoid the idle of their assets and keep away from passive stalemate by keeping cash in private places instead of banks."
