Al-Fath talks about the future of the Ministries of Defense and Interior .. These laws will pass soon

BAGHDAD, Iraq -

The deputy of the Badr bloc affiliated with the alliance, "Fatah" Hamid Abbas, on Tuesday, the agreement of the alliance "Al-Fath" and "Asron," to resolve the post of the Ministries of Defense and Interior early in the new legislative term of parliament.

Abbas said that "the parliament will hold its first session of the second legislative term (March 5, 2019), and is expected to complete the cabinet cabin in the first two sessions of parliament."

Abbas added that "the coalition and other Fatah agreed on a specific mechanism to name the ministers of interior, defense and justice, as well as the Ministry of Education, after consultation with the political blocs to develop a mechanism to choose the right special grades."

Abbas pointed out that "the results of the committee formed between the coalition and other Fatah will be announced and revealed in the first two meetings of the parliament, which will develop a map of openness to the political blocs to build the foundations of the state," pointing to "put three names to be promoted to the position of the Ministry of the Interior, Military service in the ministry. "

The MP did not mention any of the three candidates, saying that "most MPs will focus on the names and leave the criteria."

And on the Ministry of Defense, Abbas pointed out that "the defense nominated three of them Faysal Fanar al-Jarba has ended his chances completely, and Salim Jubouri, whose chances have diminished to a certain extent during the past few days, while the name of Major General Hisham Darraji, as a favorite."

He pointed out that "the candidate of the Ministry of Education Safana Hamdani, will not pass because of the lack of consensus within the House of Representatives on it," noting that "the Fatah Alliance informed the National Axis Alliance, not eligible to impose the name of their candidate on most members of Parliament."

And on the laws that will be legislated during the second legislative term, Abbas said that "the most important laws that will work to read and vote on is (the Federal Court Act and the law of oil and gas)."

Abbas explained that "the President of the parliament to prevent the vacations during the new legislative term," adding that "the Presidency will take legal action against any deputy absent even if he has provided a sick leave."
