The executing company of the building project of the Central Bank of Iraq preparations for the construction of the first part of the base structure of the new building in Baghdad designed by the late Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid.

A source at the bank said: "The base consists of steel and high-quality cement, to complete the highest tower under construction in Iraq, consisting of 37 floors and 170 meters high."

"The building overlooking the Tigris River in the Jadiriyah area includes gold and silver safes, offices, conference and meeting rooms, a museum, a ceremonial hall, parking lots and green spaces, and a monument to the architecture of the iron in honor of it."

The project is being implemented by a global company, which carried out the flame towers and Heydar Aliyev center in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku. The contract with the company is worth $ 800 million, while the design cost amounted to $ 70 million.
