On Monday, the Association of Iraqi Private Banks held a workshop entitled "Risk Management and Compliance in Banks" at the headquarters of the Association, with the participation of the Central Bank and a number of private banks.

Ahmed Al Hashemi, director of administration and training at the Association of Iraqi Private Banks, said in his speech at the opening of the workshop, "After the urgent need for banking risk management, The Iraqi banking sector with the latest legislation and laws related to risk management and compliance and keep up with developments in the global banking sector.

Hashemi added that "raising the work of the banking sector employees one of the most important functions of the Association of Iraqi private banks."
