Monday 25 March
Alsumaria News / Baghdad
A parliamentary source said on Monday that it was decided to postpone the meeting of the House of Representatives until Tuesday.
The source said in an interview for Alsumaria News, "The presidency of parliament decided to postpone the meeting today, until Tuesday."
The source, who asked not to be named, said that "this was due to lack of quorum for the meeting."
The speaker of the parliament lifted on Sunday the session of the Council to Monday, after he voted to dismiss the governor of Nineveh Nofal al-Akoub and his deputies, in addition to other decisions on the incident of the ferry in Mosul, including compensation for the families of martyrs and the affected.
