The President of the Republic heads to Tunisia to participate in the Arab Summit

The President of the Republic, Dr. Barham Salih, on Saturday, 30-3-2019, headed a government delegation to Tunisia to participate in the Arab Summit at its thirtieth session.
It is hoped that he will deliver the speech of Iraq during the conference. He will also hold bilateral meetings with His Majesty, Highnesses and Sovereigns from the heads of the participating delegations in order to develop relations and coordinate positions on many issues at the Arab and regional levels.
The participation of the President of the Republic is an embodiment of what he called for the need to open Iraq to its Arab brothers and friends and to work together to find radical solutions to the crises that are afflicting the region and to return to calm through serious and meaningful dialogue.
The participation of His Excellency the President in the conference will also lead to the leading and vital role of Iraq and its weight in the Arab arena, and belief in Baghdad's keenness to be a factor of brotherhood in accordance with common interests and serving the peoples of the region.
