A delegation from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) arrived in Baghdad on Tuesday for an official visit.

"A delegation from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) headed by Secretary-General Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani has arrived in Baghdad this afternoon," state television reported in an emergency news broadcast by Alsumaria News.

The capital Baghdad on Saturday (April 20, 2019) hosted the conference of parliaments of neighboring countries of Iraq, at the invitation of Parliament Speaker Mohamed Halboussi.

Baghdad, Tuesday, arrived in the Gulf Cooperation Council delegation headed by Abdul Latif Zayani, President of the Council.

"The delegation will discuss the development and strengthening of fraternal, economic and political relations between Iraq and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries," the sources said.
