The personal secretary of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi on Sunday revealed the full opening of the Green Zone to the movement of citizens within the next ten days.

"85% of the preparations for the opening of the Green Zone have been completed 24 hours before the movement of citizens, leaving only 15%," Lieutenant General Mohammed Hamid told Alsumaria News.

"Within the next ten days, the area will be fully opened," Hamid said.


It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi Mahdi within the framework of his government and during his tenure last year that he will take measures to open the Green Zone in front of the movement of citizens in stages.
