Iraq agrees with Egypt and Jordan to set timelines for the implementation of economic files

BAGHDAD - Iraq agreed with Egypt and Jordan on setting timelines for implementing economic files during a joint meeting in Amman on Thursday.
The media spokesman of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals Abdul Wahid Alwan said in a statement received by "Iraq News" that "the Minister of Industry and Minerals Saleh al-Jubouri discussed with his counterparts in Jordan and Egypt cooperation frameworks in a number of economic files."
He added that "the minister and his accompanying delegation participated today in the work of the tripartite ministerial meeting held in the Jordanian capital Amman, which included Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Dr. Tareq Al-Hamouri and Egyptian Minister of Commerce and Industry Eng. Amr Nassar to follow up the conclusions and recommendations of the three- Recently held in Cairo to promote bilateral agreements and achieve economic integration among the three countries. "
He pointed out that "the meeting dealt with extensive discussions on a number of economic files to complement the discussions of the tripartite summit and agree on the continuation of coordination to follow up these files with the development of mechanisms and plans and timelines for the implementation of the benefit and the common interests of all."
The statement said that "the Iraqi Minister of Industry and Minerals accompanied by the technical agent and scientific adviser to the ministry went to Jordan yesterday to participate in the meeting of tripartite cooperation between Jordan and Egypt at the invitation of his Jordanian counterpart to strengthen relations of cooperation at all levels and at all levels."
