The three summits of Mecca ... reveal the scenes of Iraq's rejection of the final statement and accusations of Saudi Arabia to legitimize the American presence

Political 06:23 - 01/06/2019

Private - Mawazine News

Three summits held in Saudi Arabia over the past few days, including the Arab summit, the emergency summit and the summit of the Islamic countries, ended with final statements, mostly against Iran, but Iraq recorded its objection to the final statement of the emergency summit through President Barham Salih.

"The final statement of the emergency summit was prepared in advance by the leaders of the summit and the Saudi leadership, and what was put forward at the summit of the words of the leaders and presidents just a botoxoley no more," sources said.

The sources added that "Iraq recorded its objection to the final statement, not in defense of Iran, but because he did not participate in his book statement and refused to be a supporter of anything without including the remarks made by President Saleh, including the central issue of the Palestinian issue and the resolution of the conflict in Syria and Yemen."

The sources pointed out that "some, including the leaders of countries tried to dissuade Saleh from registering the objection to the final statement, but their attempt failed."

In addition, MPs praised the decision of the President of the Republic and considered it to be indicative of the sovereignty and independence of Iraq and not the subordination of any party.

"President Saleh has succeeded in making Iraq adopt a neutral stance towards the conflicts in the region and not to compliment any party at the expense of the right," MP Alia Nassif said in a statement received by Mawazine News.

"He also expressed Iraq's support for the cause of the Palestinian people and the direct call for the establishment of a Palestinian state with Arab Jerusalem as its capital, and this position is a challenge to the wills aimed at Judaizing Jerusalem and make it the capital of the Zionist entity usurper, and embarrassed the US administration and promoters of the deal century.

The Nassif added: "The Iraqi objection to the final statement was an honorable position through which President Saleh on a strong foreign policy of Iraq refuses to drift behind any international influences and no guardianship of anyone, this objection, which we see logically and rationally will make Iraq a platform for adopting neutral positions in the face of crises In the region and the world will also make our positions counted by a thousand accounts by the rest of the states. "

For his part, MP Al-Fath Alliance Karim Aliawi said on Saturday that the Mecca summits held yesterday in Saudi Arabia came to obtain an Arab consensus for the presence of US combat forces in the Middle East and the war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, while the position of Iraq not to focus on Iran failed the two summits And the American plan that supports them.

Alawi said in an interview that "Saudi Arabia is trying to inflame the situation in the region and support the war against Tehran through the two summits of Mecca," pointing out that "the goals of the two summits support the US combat presence in the Middle East and focus on Iran, Washington if the war breaks out. "

He added that "Saudi Arabia wanted to invite Iraq to its two groups to sever the Iranian-Iraqi relations and an attempt to drag it to the American axis," noting that "Iraq's courageous and bold stance of refusing to focus on Iran failed all the hopes and plans of the United States supporting the two Mecca."
