The Association of Banks holds a training course in cooperation with the Union of Arab Banks and the Central Bank

The Association of Iraqi Private Banks, in cooperation with the Union of Arab Banks and the Central Bank of Iraq, held a training session on Monday entitled "General Rules for the Protection of Personal Data (GDPR) and CRS.

The two-day course at the headquarters of the Association in Baghdad aims to study the details of the European law for the protection of personal data and to analyze and understand the applicability of this law to European and non-European institutions, especially the Arab banking sector. Implementation of its terms as applicable.

The target groups at the session are Compliance Unit Officers, Risk Management Unit Officers, Control and Audit Officers, Information Technology and Information Security Officers, and Legal Department officials.
