Conscious / Deputy: increase salaries of retirees include salaries of the Kurdistan Region

A member of the parliamentary legal committee Salim Shushkei, on Tuesday, that the federal government handed over a bill to parliament to change and increase the salaries of retirees in Iraq and includes the law of the Kurdistan Region also.
"The federal government handed over a bill to parliament called the National Service Law to regulate and raise salaries, especially in the matter of retirement and has more to do with retirees, so that the minimum salary for retirement is enough for today's living," Shoshkei said in a statement. "The employee can retire at the age of 50 if he has 15 years of service," said Shushkei.

For her part, a member of the Finance Committee, MP Mahasen Hamdoun that the pensions of staff has not been to date to take any decision to increase, but the subject was presented to the House of Representatives during the previous sessions.
"There is a trend to increase the salaries of employees with the amount of 400 thousand dinars or less to double this amount, but the government has not taken any decision yet on this subject, indicating that the increase in pensions does not need to increase the budget or additional allocations, A pension fund that gets its budget from the salaries of employees. "
