Abdul Mahdi and Halbusi emphasize the importance of supporting the government in the implementation of its program at the specified time

Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi and Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halbusi, on Thursday, the importance of supporting the government in the implementation of its program according to the specified time.
"The meeting discussed the security, political and economic situation in the country and the latest regional and international developments," the office said in a statement received by Al-Akhbar.
The meeting stressed the importance of coordination between the legislative and executive branches, supporting the government in implementing its government program according to the specified time, and providing the best services to citizens.
The meeting also reviewed the results of the visit of the Speaker of the House of Representatives to the State of Kuwait to discuss means of investing funds allocated for the reconstruction of Iraq at the Kuwait International Donor Conference held in February 2018. The Kuwaiti side emphasized the commitment to the conference outcomes, , Providing services to citizens, and achieving stability, according to the statement.
