A delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government will visit Baghdad this week to discuss outstanding problems with the federal government.

The representative of the Government of Kurdistan in the capital Baghdad Fares Issa said in a press statement that "a delegation from the regional government will visit Baghdad next Tuesday to discuss the draft federal budget law for 2020 and the rest of the outstanding problems."

For his part, said MP of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Shirwan Mirza during a press statement that "the delegation of the Kurdistan region consists of ministers of finance and Peshmerga, planning, interior, agriculture and a number of other officials."



"The delegation will discuss with the federal government officials the files of oil, the budget and peshmerga dues and the normalization of the situation in the disputed areas."
