The Iraqi Council of Representatives on Monday held its second session under the chairmanship of its President Mohammed Halbousi.

A parliamentary source said in an interview with Alsumaria News, "The House of Representatives today held its second session of the second legislative year under the chairmanship of President Mohammed Halbousi."

The source added that "the agenda of the session included a vote on the draft law to draw the character of the national campaign to build schools and kindergartens, and vote in principle on the draft law of the first amendment to the law of the Ministry of Education No. (22) for 2011, and the first reading of the proposal to cancel the offices of public inspectors, and reading The first of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (New York 1958). "

He added that "the table also included the first reading of the draft law of accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Convention on International Land Transport of 1975, and the first reading of the draft law of accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Convention on the identity of seafarers No. (185) for 2003, and the first reading of the draft law of accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Convention on Maritime Action. For the year 2006, the first reading of the draft law of the twenty-first amendment to the law of owners No. (25) for the year 1960, and the first reading of the draft law of the Faculty of Air Force.

The source added that "Parliament will discuss the report (second reading) of the proposal of the health insurance law, and the report (second reading) of the draft law on communications and informatics."
