Kurdish source: a political agreement between Nujaifi and Barzani to remove the Iranian parties from Mosul

BAGHDAD, Sept. 16, 2019 - Details of an agreement between the FIS and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) to curb the influence of parties close to Iran in Ninewa and disputed areas, an informed Kurdish source said on Monday.

The Salvation Front, headed by Osama al-Nujaifi, was supported and welcomed by the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and its leaders, headed by Massoud Barzani, pointing out that there is an unannounced agreement to enter into an alliance after the local elections to share positions in Nineveh province.
