(Baghdad: Euphrates News) The Parliamentary Finance Committee submitted a proposal to adopt Iraqi audit companies to save public money instead of foreign.

This came during a meeting hosted by the Finance Committee headed by Haitham al-Jubouri and the presence of its members, on Saturday, the President of the Office of Financial Control and the Association of Accountants and Auditors.

A statement by his office, which received a copy of the Euphrates News, said that "the host, which took place at the headquarters of the Finance Committee, discussed the proposal to amend the Law of the Association of Accountants and Auditors after the Committee heard the opinion of the President of the Audit Bureau and the Association of Accountants and Auditors on the subject as well as the work mechanism of international auditing companies. in Iraq".

The Finance Committee stressed "its support for the orientation to the adoption of Iraqi audit companies as well as any measure that would save public money from waste and combat all aspects of corruption and provide jobs for the unemployed."
