The Rafidain Forum for Security and Economy was held on Thursday under the slogan `` Iraq is recovering '' from 26 to 28 September 2019 at the Babylon Hotel in Baghdad, while discussing various issues that concern the future of Iraq in the fields of economic, security and development. [/ltr]
"The forum is being held at a time when Iraq needs to focus on security and economic affairs in order to create the right environment to advance the economy and achieve the desired development in all its aspects," the organizing committee said in a statement received by the All Iraq News Agency. She added that the objectives of the forum brought together experts, academics and specialists as well as governmental and non-governmental personalities interested in security and economic affairs in the Middle East and the world, in Baghdad to discuss and discuss, and to discuss the new developments in the regional political situation, amid the increasing policies of the axes in the Middle East, These include international interventions and positions on the countries of the region and the future of the current crises in the Middle East.

She explained that "one of its objectives is to strengthen and strengthen the ties and relations between research institutions in Iraq with their counterparts in many important countries, and provide a platform for discussion and deliberation on the challenges of Iraqi and regional security, and dialogue with the concerned Iraqi and regional officials from the countries of the Middle East on their reform and security program, Especially in preventing the return of ISIS, the security of the region, addressing the problem of the displaced, the threats posed by extremism, providing a platform for discussion and deliberation on the Iraqi and regional economy and its challenges and how to make Iraq an important hub for the regional economy, and to discuss Financial, agricultural, industrial, communications and acts of worship energy. She pointed out that "the forum is also aimed at the return of Baghdad to play its natural role - having achieved security and stability - to be a destination that brings together various specialists and interested to discuss and deliberate on the affairs of Iraq and its security, economic and political problems, instead of discussing it in other capitals and cities."
