Today, Thursday, the House of Representatives announced the beginning of the second legislative term for the third year on April 20.
The Media Department of the Council of Representatives stated, in a statement received by the National News Center, that “the Presidency of the Council decided to end the first legislative term,” noting that this came according to Article 57 of the Constitution which states that “Parliament has an annual session. With two legislative chapters lasting for eight months, the rules of procedure specify how they will be convened, and the separation of the session in which the general budget is presented does not end without approval.
She pointed out that "the beginning of the second legislative term / third legislative year will be on Tuesday 20/4/2021."
