Railways Discusses Emergency Loan Projects For The World Bank

The Director General of Railways, Talib Jawad Kazem Al-Husseini, head of the World Bank team for the Ministry of Transport, chaired, today, Monday, an expanded meeting of the World Bank team members via the television circuit.
A statement by the company and received by Earth News stated, "Where the works and projects that were contracted and the percentages of completion to follow were discussed through the cooperation agreement for the emergency loan of the World Bank, based on the study presented by the General Company for Iraqi Railways (one of the formations of the Ministry of Transport) to restore bridges, railways and infrastructure to the western and northern regions affected by terrorist acts.”
He added, "This comes within the cooperation provided by the World Bank for the reconstruction of the affected provinces within the framework of the emergency loan agreement provided by the World Bank to develop and build railway lines and bridges and buildings to restore them to their previous era to serve the provinces."
