BAGHDAD / JD / .. Parliamentary Finance Committee stressed that the Iraqi judiciary has formed a committee to achieve stop the circumstances of corruption in the Central Bank revealed involved money laundering process.

The committee member said the MP for the Liberal bloc Magda Tamimi's / JD /: "The file of the Central Bank became hands of the judiciary has been the formation of a special committee to reveal the facts and names involved money laundering.

Tamimi confirmed, that all of the names mentioned media reported here involved money laundering incorrect and far from the case a lot.

It pointed out the errors occurred in some Iraqi Embassies in neighboring countries, has signed documents indicating that entry of goods into Iraq but did not enter the country.

Promised a member of the Knesset Finance Committee MP for the Liberal bloc, the formation of a committee of the Iraqi judiciary good thing because it would reveal the names of the truth involved money laundering that took place in the Central Bank of Iraq.


According to the report submitted by the committee overseeing the central bank, which included both of the heads of the two financial, economic and BSA under the supervision of First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Qusay al-Suhail: that investigations proved the existence of sale of foreign currency to banks and corporations themselves and that has smuggled to neighboring countries.

It is noteworthy that the Council of Ministers decided to assign Chairman of the Board of Supreme Audit Abdul Basit Turki management position of Governor of the Central Bank and the Agency, the Judicial Council issued an arrest warrant for former central bank governor and a number of officials in corruption cases.
