Baghdad (news) .. Announced the decision of the Commission of Economy and Investment MP / coalition of Kurdish blocs / Mahma Khalil, deducting more than (5) billion dollars of oil revenues to repay foreign debt, noting that Kuwait received so far (35) billion dollars in compensation money.
Khalil said (of the Agency news) on Saturday: The foreign debt constitutes a major obstacle to the development of the national economy, where they are deducting more than (5) billion dollars of Iraqi oil revenues fund at the United Nations in compensation to Kuwait and some other countries.

He added: Kuwait received from Iraq (35) billion dollars since (1991) and now financial compensation, adding that the money could have been invested in projects that serve the country and not the policy of the former regime who became victims of the country and its people.
