State of Law MP: National Alliance gathers votes to pass some important laws.

BAGHDAD / NINA / MP, of the state of law coalition, Abdul Salam al-Maliki said that "The National Alliance will try, in the coming period, to gather the necessary votes to pass some important laws in the House of Representatives especially those related to political and governmental reforms."

He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / "The National Alliance, with all its components, has taken a decision to support the decisions of the Committee of Five, which was formed by the political blocs, concerning the legitimate demands of the demonstrators."


He added "The National Alliance has form channels of dialogue with all political blocs, to form a unified position on important laws, and find a political consensus on them, noting that" these laws are the general amnesty law, the Federal Court, legally amend the accountability and justice and unti-terrorism law.

He noted that "some of these laws need modifications and change in some of their legal formulas to be approved as soon as possible in the parliament."

The head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafari had discussed earlier, with members of the Committee of Five formed by the National Forum, in the presence of other political figures, ways to find quick solutions to the legitimate demands of the demonstrators. / End
