Finance Committee announced agreement colon Alkhlavtin on the federal budget and relating to the demand for the Kurdistan Alliance and the Iraqi List.
And a member of the Finance Committee said Magda al-Tamimi said that "a meeting gathering the Second Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives and representatives of the Finance Committee and the Board of Supreme Audit and the Ministries of Planning and Finance concluded an agreement on a mechanism to resolve the dispute over dues of foreign companies operating in the region."
Tamimi added that "the BSA presented the audited report on the quantities of oil companies and accruals in the Kurdistan region and found that the remaining amount is $ 1.6 billion and not 4.2 billion." He stressed that "it was agreed to secure the amount by issuing treasury transfers." And continued, "it was also agreed with the Iraqi List, the transfers amount that they asked for the benefit of the provinces of the allocations of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance instead of the allocations of the Ministry of Defense."
