Barzani, Kerry discuss political crisis in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, discussed with the US Foreign Minister, John Kerry, the political crisis in Iraq and the means of settling it.

A statement by the Kurdistani Regional Government received by IraqiNews.com “Barzani received a phone call from Kerry where the latter expressed his pleasure for the development of the mutual relations between KR and the USA in addition to discussing the political crisis in Iraq.”
“For his part, Barzani congratulated Kerry for his new post, wishing him the success in performing his tasks,” the statement added.

“Kerry stressed the necessity of continue the communication between the two sides,” the statement concluded.
