China confirms the survival of Zhou Xiaochuan, head of the Central Bank

BEIJING (Reuters) -
China has decided to stay Zhou Xiaochuan in the position of Governor of the Central Bank on Saturday in a move had been expected widely after his election as Vice President of the largest advisory body to parliament.
Reuters reported last month that Cho could keep his job after being promoted to become a member of the National Council of Political Consultative Conference of the Chinese people, which exempts him from the base of mandatory retirement at age sixty-fifth session of the ministerial incumbents.
