Council of Ministers today decided to determine the fourth Tuesday of next July as the date for elections provinces of Anbar and Nineveh.

A government source said in a press statement on Tuesday that "the Council of Ministers in its meeting today decided to determine the next Fourth of July as the date for elections Anbar and Nineveh."

The Cabinet had decided on March 19 of last postponement of provincial elections in Nineveh and Anbar for a maximum period of six months, and met with this objection decision by the majority of the Iraqi political forces.
