Finance parliamentary: the gradual rise of the dinar against the dollar in the coming days

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN ) - The parliamentary Finance Committee, on Tuesday, said that the coming days will witness a significant decline of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar, after the new central bank measures to raise the exchange rate of the dinar.

Committee member said Haitham al-Jubouri's (IMN ) That "the dollar started to decline against the Iraqi dinar to the conventional level (125) thousand dinars for each $ 100," he said, adding that he "will arrive to (120) thousand dinars per $ 100 this month."

He said al-Jubouri, "The actions carried out by the central bank good to keep the price of the Iraqi dinar, and the most important of opening letters of credit and cash sales, which reached more than 55% of the sales total for the currency by private banks which contributed to reduce demand and increase supply."

Between Jubouri, said that "the central bank put deterrent legal action against anyone who violates the instructions laid down by him banks accounting offense, arrest conducted by the manipulation of the exchange rate through to send him abroad."

The price of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar has witnessed a significant rise in months past, where he arrived to (130) thousand dinars for each U.S. $ 100, while the central bank sells at (117) thousand dinars for each U.S. $ 100 at the time.
