The importance of counting centers in banks

Financial affairs specialist stressed the need to activate prompt the central bank to establish a center for banks currency counting and sorting by using modern mechanization.
Saif al-Jawad said in an interview for the (morning): The trading blocs cash in banks requires advanced technologies, in light of doubling the amounts that are traded in local banks that require considerable time and effort by the fund trustees.
He added that the counting and sorting centers demanded by the central bank earlier contribute to reducing the phenomenon of fake and shortages damaged that appear in the deposits of banks continuously with the CBI.
The central bank called for the establishment of these centers during the month of March last year under the guidance issued by the Directorate-General for issuing and cupboards in the bank.
