[ltr]BAGHDAD / obelisk: Iraqi Central Bank announced Tuesday, the election of Abdul Basit Turki Vice Chairman of the Executive Office of the Arab Organization of SAIs and choose a meeting place for Iraq.[/ltr]


[ltr]The bank said in a statement obtained by "obelisk", a copy of that "has been elected Chairman of the Board of Supreme Audit Abdul Basit Turki Vice-President of the Executive Office of the Arab Organization for regulatory agencies."[/ltr]


[ltr]The statement added that "Iraq was chosen place for the next meeting of the General Authority of the Arab Organization of SAIs," noting that "this is the first time in the history of Iraq, which they occupy Iraqi figure this position."[/ltr]


[ltr]The Abdul Basit Turki, who served as Chairman of the Board of Supreme Audit assumed management of the Central Bank of Iraq by proxy after the sacking of former governor Sinan al-Shabibi.[/ltr]
