Anger: assigning the Ministry of Finance the development of a database for the application of the customs tariff

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - commissioned the Council of Ministers, on Monday, the Ministry of Finance, the creation measures are supplies at border crossing points to start the application of the law of customs tariff end of the year.
The head of the advisers in the prime minister Thamer Ghadhban,'s (IMN) "instructed the Ministry of Finance need to start creating the technical procedures for the application of tariff law customs, and ابزر the measures, notably the development of a database and comprehensive information and the light is applied law Ptalmyate".
He angered that "the government with the implementation of a rapid tariff law to its importance in the face of flooding the local market with goods with qualities ردئية and discounted rates and affect GDP in the competition," noting that "the measures that will be adopted for the law at border crossing points will include the Kurdistan region as well."
And "is supposed to begin the application of tariff law end of the year where procedures and Almstlomat to have been completed at border crossing points."
The Law on customs tariff of the new approved by the House of Representatives to abolish the tariff law No. (77) for the year 1955, and ordered the Coalition Provisional Authority (dissolved) No. (54) for the year 2004 (the policy of trade liberalization for 2004), and ordered the CPA No. 38 of 2003 (Tax reconstruction of Iraq, as amended).
The law gives the Council of Ministers at the request of the Minister of Finance amend the customs duty provided for in the tariff table customs duties and agricultural calendar attached to this law in cases of emergency need for economic and monetary require protection action or transaction.
