Baghdad (news) .. House of Representatives voted on the second amendment to the law the customs tariff law No. 22 of 2010, as amended, indicating that he will be working the Coalition Provisional Authority Act No. 38 for a period of three years.

She added: It's been canceled law of customs tariff No. 77 for the year 1955 and we re-work orders CPA Order No. 38 where they are taking the 5% tax on the materials involved until the completion of the law of the customs tariff No. 22 for the year 2010 where the selection and designation of imported goods covered by each phase in coordination with the General for Customs and Economic Affairs Committee in the Council of Ministers, indicating that does not exceed the time limit for the application of this point and access to the full application of the new law three years from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

She pointed out: that the failure to apply the law of the customs tariff to the new after three years was due to the failure to provide the necessary requirements in the implementation of the provisions of this law and to maintain the level of prices in the Iraqi market and to protect consumers from price increases resulting from the implementation of this law, in addition to giving adequate opportunity for financial management to apply the law and prepares the ground for it.
