Iraq: a new plan to protect its assets from commercial creditors

[ltr] BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network's (IMN) - the parliamentary Finance Committee said on Monday, it is in the process of developing a new joint plan with the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank and the Office of Financial Supervision to protect Iraqi funds from commercial creditors.

[ltr]Committee member said Abdul-Hussein al-Yasiri's (IMN) "The Committee will be covered by the development of solutions financial, legal and economic external commercial debt file permanently after the White House to raise the responsibility for the protection in June next year."

[ltr]He added that "Iraq is working to promote and put the global economic and banking through a sponsor plans to prevent manipulation of trade creditors."
[/ltr]
[ltr]He continued that "the Committee requested the activation of the Ministry of Finance's decision earlier decision to grant 15% of the value of the stolen money at the time of the former regime who reported".
[/ltr]
[ltr]And hit Iraq last year, more than three thousand and five hundred creditor commercial value of $ 2.7 billion as a way to protect his money from foreign businesses manipulation.[/ltr]
