Planning announces readiness to launch five-year development plan

Tomorrow Press / Baghdad: The Ministry of Planning, on Monday, announced the launch of a development plan include all ministries of the Iraqi state, as indicated its willingness to launch a five-year plan for the development of all sectors.

He said Planning Minister Ali Shukri for "tomorrow Press," "The ministry is preparing to launch a five-year plan for the development of key sectors such as health, education, housing, education, agriculture, industry and trade," noting that "This plan provides for the first time private-sector participation in and relied upon as support essential in the development process far term. "

He added that "the private sector will contribute to the plan by one-third, and will include electricity, energy, tourism and urban planning," he said, adding that he "was a contributor in the development of this plan as well as the relevant ministries and institutions concerned with human development in Iraq."

The Ministry of Planning has held, on Monday, a conference at the Rashid Hotel in Baghdad to launch a national development plan in Iraq.
