Headed by Mr. Osama Najafi, Chairman of the House of Representatives and in the presence of First Deputy Chairman of the Council, Dr. Qusay al-Suhail and Vice Chairman of the Board Mr. Arif Tayfur Tuesday 09/24/2013 a meeting of representatives of parliamentary blocs and committees to discuss a number of important laws.
Mr. Najafi stressed in his speech during the meeting, which was held in the hall Constitutional Council on the importance of expediting resolution of legislation to amend the House of Representatives Election Law No. 16 of 2005 and conclude treaties and the Federation Council and the parties and the law of reconstruction of infrastructure and service sectors
Mr. President of the Council to the importance of the vote on amending the election law during the next session on Thursday, calling for a speed up to reach a formula acceptable to all parties, especially that time became tight before the Council to legislate the law.
The meeting agreed to hold a meeting of the heads of the blocs to mature a bill to conclude treaties in preparation for submission to the Council during the next two weeks, in addition to a meeting chaired by Dr. Qusay al-Suhail, First Deputy Chairman of the Board with the Legal Committee to finalize the Law of the House of Representatives election as a prelude to display on the agenda of Thursday's session next.
And on the draft law on reconstruction of infrastructure and service sectors agreed that President Najafi with gentlemen heads of blocs and their representatives to convene a meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. Aref Tayfur, Vice President of the Council with the committees of services and economic and financial education to discuss the law and to reach a final version in order to put the law on the agenda at the meetings.
The meeting also stressed the importance of expediting the resolution of the issue of special grades in the ministries and bodies and provide the names that the principle of balance has been achieved for a vote as well as the need to provide law party after انضاجه.
The meeting agreed on the continuation of the House of Representatives sessions over two consecutive weeks in order to vote on important laws and read the laws and proposals on a number of other laws.
