Preparing the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate to organize a conference administrators expanded media organizations operating in Iraq in order to put the "Charter for professional work" sets the standards and rules of professional conduct and ethics of the profession.
The statement said the union has received all of Iraq [where] a copy of it on Sunday that "the conference will be attended by representatives from a number of international organizations, which will syndicate calling from International Federation of Journalists and the Federation of Arab Journalists and the League of Arab States, UNESCO and Reporters Without Borders and the Committee to Protect Journalists International Union European journalists, in addition to a number of international organizations dealing with the press and media as well as representatives of a number of ministries and official institutions and parliamentary elections and the Supreme Judicial Council. "
"He will be at the conference the signing of the Charter by the institutions and journalists for later becomes binding for all the work and commitment according to its terms if it was agreed to its content by media organizations."
The union, according to the statement expressed "its readiness to receive the proposals and the necessary observations and thoughts about the conference," noting, "It will inform the concerned authorities about the date of the conference after the completion of all preparations for him." [/ltr]
