BAGHDAD - Iraq Press - 19 October / October: Ministry of Finance announced that the Iraqi budget for Iraq in 2014, will amount to 174 trillion dinars and a deficit of up to 27 trillion, expressing hope for passage of the Parliament of the budget before the end of the year. "
The finance minister said the agency Ali Shukri, on Saturday, "The budget for fiscal year 2014 are now in the Council of Ministers where a small committee meetings continuing to bypass the observations recorded them," noting that "the value of the budget for 2014 will amount to 174 trillion Iraqi dinars, and a deficit of up to 27 trillion dinars. "
Shukri added that "the Committee held three meetings to finish all problems recorded on the state budget for the year 2014."
He Shukri that "the Council of Ministers will approve this budget in the coming weeks to send then to the House of Representatives for a vote," and expressed the hope "that is to vote and approve the budget in Parliament before the end of the year to enable the ministries of the implementation of projects in a timely manner."
