Turkey: a possible agreement on energy between the Kurds and Baghdad this month

Said Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz said on Tuesday that the Kurdistan region of Iraq has come to an agreement on energy with the central government in Baghdad this month amid disagreements between the two parties on oil exports and revenue sharing.
Yildiz was visited Baghdad on Sunday, where he met with Hussain al-Shahristani, Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister for Energy, in an effort to appease the central government after Turkey entered into a multibillion-dollar agreement with the Kurdistan Regional Government last week.
