Cabinet fails to decisively draft budget

[ltr]Twilight News / A source in the Iraqi Council of Ministers, on Tuesday, the end of the council meeting without access to any conclusions about the draft general budget for Iraq in 2014.
The most controversial point of the draft next year's budget dues Kurdistan Region of Finance after the federal government sought to reduce the ratio to 10% instead of 17% as compensation for financial losses due to halt the export of oil from the region.
The source said in an interview with "Twilight News", it was decided at the meeting to form a committee to review the draft general budget for Iraq in 2014.
The source added, that the issue of the export of the province of Kurdistan oil formed one of the obstacles to achieve results in today's session, which prevented to reach concrete results on the budget.
The Ministry of Finance said last month that a sub-committee of the Council of Ministers began discussions of the federal budget for 2014 before submission to the Board for discussion and approval.
The federal budget for next year is 176.5 billion dinars, which is the largest in the history of Iraq, which has paid the most attention to file energy, security and services.
