Tomorrow's Press / Baghdad: guessed the decision of Parliament Muhammad Khalidi, Monday, to postpone parliamentary elections scheduled for the 30th of next April because of the late arrival of the budget from the government to the parliament, while describing it as "dangerous", he stressed that next Thursday there will be a lengthy meeting brings together heads of political blocs to the Presidency to discuss the approval of the pension law, parties and some other laws.

Khalidi said at a press conference in the parliament building and attended by "tomorrow's Press," "The sessions of the legislative term of the Council of Representatives will begin on Tuesday and continue until the 13th of January next, and that the life of the last chapter of the Parliament, which ends on the 15th of April 2014," pointing to "This period will be the adoption of the laws of the federal budget and public pension and the Federation Council and the parties."

He added that "the Presidency of the Council of Representatives will hold a meeting, next Thursday, in the presence of heads of political blocs with the Chairman of the Legal and External Relations, Finance and regions and provinces on the laws of the parties and the proposed law on the Federation Council and a draft Contract Law of Treaties and the Unified Retirement and the Federal Court."

He said al-Khalidi that "the Council of Ministers did not discuss the budget so far because of big differences between the Kurdistan region and the federal government on some points, as well as requests for the provinces and ministries," stressing that "the budget approval will be delayed and will not pass easily."

He stressed "the impossibility of the House of Representatives to end the current dismissal unless they are approving the budget, and therefore it is possible to postpone the upcoming elections and this is very dangerous."

The Parliament and since the beginning of the current session on 21 December 2010 and has so far witnessed disagreements and lack of consensus on many of the laws vital task such parties law and the law of oil and gas and the Unified Retirement Law, as well as the general amnesty law and others, underlining observers that it is subject to the bidding of political and the wishes of the leaders of parliamentary blocs.
