Baghdad and Erbil reached a joint decision to spend deposit money Kurdish oil exports account for Iraq in the United States instead of depositing them in the bank Turkish government, contrary to Ankara's insistence on deposit in the Bank of Turkish government.

The news agency said the Turkish official said Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Nechirvan Barzani, had reached a decision on their differences on Baghdad's oil exports in December 25 of this year.

The agency said that the agreement provides for the deposit of the proceeds of oil exported from the areas controlled by the Kurds in the calculation of the Development Fund for Iraq, which opened at JP Morgan Chase in Enyork in 2003 at the request of the United Nations, instead of depositing them in Halk Bank of the Turkish government for lending.

The newspaper reported that Barzani had touched on the issue of deposit of oil money in an American bank during his visit to Ankara by the end of November last year.

The agency quoted a statement issued by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, Hussein al-Shahristani, said that both sides had agreed to export Kurdish oil through the Oil Marketing Company (SOMO), the company responsible for marketing Iraq's oil.

In the meantime, he said, media adviser to the prime minister, Ali al-Moussawi, said the two sides reached a consensus on the formation of a committee to resolve the outstanding problems between the two governments, and that the Committee will meet at the end of the year 2014 to end those issues.

The agency said that the proceeds will be distributed to the parties concerned through the central budget.
