Japan has confirmed that the security situation will not deter companies from entering the Iraqi market .

He said the Japanese ambassador to Iraq Kazuya Nascida (morning) : The security situation will not deter his country's companies for access to markets in Iraq and the implementation of service projects , especially in the areas of infrastructure , electricity, energy, automotive , noting that cooperation with the Iraqi side yielded the signing of one of the largest contracts for the implementation of Basra, the strategic water project by the company (Hitachi ) Japanese.

He pointed to the expansion of economic cooperation with Iraq for up to five billion dollars , adding that the Japanese side believes that Iraq has turned from the stage of reconstruction to the investment business .
