Twilight News / Liberal parliamentary bloc announced, Monday, that the Iraqi Council of Representatives will be published this week, the Unified Retirement Law in the Official Gazette.

The presidency has rejected the ratification of the pension law, and demanded reconsideration of Articles 37 and 38 in order to achieve justice and harmony with the spirit of the Constitution and its provisions, according to a statement.

However, the Iraqi Council of Representatives said that the President or whoever replaces him does not have the power to reject the laws of the Council, including the Unified Retirement Law.

The MP said the bloc Prince Kanani at a news conference attended by "Twilight News", that "the legal retirement and social protection are among the best of all the laws passed on the Iraqi state since its inception until now."

He added that "the differences are still continuing on the budget law did quorum parliament session today at raising the issue of the budget vote for the degree on the agenda."

The Kanani said that "bloc submitted a proposal today to the Presidency of the Parliament in order to authorize the government to spend money for the consistent state matters, especially with regard to the laws that passed Kqguana retirement and social protection, and others," noting that "the proposal met with welcome the Presidency."

Kanani said that his bloc would continue pressing the political blocs in order to include the Budget Law on the agenda and it will provide a request to the President of the National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafari, in order to put pressure on coalition MPs to attend permanent.

He pointed out that 80 to 90 deputies from the National Alliance attend meetings in the last period of the total 159 deputies.

Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki may carry Iraqi Council of Representatives Wednesday responsibility for delaying the approval of the state budget for the year 2014.

He said that the Parliament is busy only legislation of laws that increase the financial burden on the budget, in reference to the legal retirement and social welfare.
