BAGHDAD / obelisk: The leader of the Kurdistan Alliance Muhsin al-Sadoun, said on Sunday that the staff of the Kurdistan region of Iraq have the right to resort to the United Nations to protest their salaries cut.

Sadoun said in an interview for "obelisk", "The process of cutting the salaries of the staff of the provincial action did not happen in the history of Iraq, how cut salaries without any reason or any other law?" Adding, "I challenge them to come to a paragraph or constitutional article they based it to cut employees' salaries ".

He explained that "there are employees in the region are going through the level of my pension is very difficult," pointing to "the right of employees in Kurdistan protests and send messages to all the countries and the United Nations, that there is arbitrary action of the federal government to cut salaries for employees without legal or constitutional."
