Central Bank announces payment of salaries of employees in Kurdistan

The governor of the Central Bank and the Agency Abdul-Basit Turki said that "the information that reached us refer to the transfer of funds for the salaries of staff to the region."

Turki added that "the Bank received notice on completion of the conversion within the assignments that have been identified by the Ministry of Finance."

Turki added that "the Bank are responsible for paying the money to the employees," he said, adding that "the allocation of those funds for months, is the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance."

Turki confirmed that "the distribution of salaries or current expenses necessary constant at the level of Iraq," pointing out that "There are no risk about it to this very moment."
