Twilight News / said Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz on Tuesday that Iraq's oil exports of Kurdistan in Turkey, which store the port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean until the settlement of a dispute between Baghdad and Erbil could begin in May.

This statement corresponds with the view of the head of the Kurdistan Regional Government Barzani yesterday that the Kurdistan oil will be available in the global market early next month.

Yildiz said in a statement to reporters during a visit to Norway published by Reuters and seen by "Twilight News" that pumping oil Iraqi Kurdistan to Turkey via a new pipeline has resumed two days ago, at a rate of 100 thousand barrels per day.

The Kurdistan and Turkey have concluded a year agreements in the field of energy including oil exports from the Kurdistan region to Turkey directly via a new pipeline.

The agreement raised the wrath of officials in Baghdad, who assert that the federal government is the only owner of the right in the management of energy resources, and it rejects any attempt to export oil in isolation from it.

Baghdad and included a clause in the draft budget for 2014 is required Kurdistan to export 400 thousand barrels per day of oil in favor of the federal government, otherwise they will be exposed to deduct part of their budget.

Over the months conducting Baghdad and Erbil talks as Turkey tried to mediate between the two sides to find a way out of the crisis, which has worsened recently after wave of Baghdad to cut off funds for Kurdistan and delayed sending employees' salaries since the beginning of this year.

Barzani said in an interview with the Kurdish satellite Roudao he dated 05/02/2014 Kurdistan oil will be available in the global oil markets.

The Twilight News yesterday contacted the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Hussain al-Shahristani to know his opinion, which confirmed that they have a special statement to the subject.

The Kurdish transports crude to world markets via a pipeline Kirkuk - Ceyhan which is controlled by Baghdad to Turkey, but the Kurdish exports across the track stopped in late 2012 because of a dispute over payments.

Kurdistan began exporting crude individually from the Taq Taq oil field to the Turkish port of Mersin in early January of last year through the trucks were estimated at about 60 thousand barrels per day.

Kurdistan is seeking to export around 300 thousand barrels per day to world markets via the new line extends to the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean.
